Please forgive the text dump and brain-vomit. I guess that's what one gets when you go exploring the past, right? I suffer from depression, like just about everyone else it seems. Anyway my art has clearly suffered for it. I can't see myself getting back into art for various reasons, but that's besides the point. I don't really care about art, I care about people, I found out. Art kinda led me down that path, and I'm thankful for it. Even when I was doing art, it was in an effort to reach out an connect with others. Growing up I always felt pretty isolated and there wasn't anyone in my family I could relate to. Art was something I could do in my free time and it allowed me to be in a world all to myself. Thanks to the internet I was able to find others like myself who created similar worlds for themselves. More amazingly a lot of them were really friendly and only happy to share. Thank you for being one of those people, Erin. I may not have ever expressed it, but you were one of the few very bright lights in my life growing up. We may not know each other from anything more than art and comments, but to me you've always appeared cheerful, chill, and very positive. You gave me good vibes and probably didn't even realize it. So again, thank you. Thank you for being there and being a friend.
